I Hope he wins this fight , but I don’t think he will, only person I can see really beating Lyoto Machida right now is Anderson Silva which will probably happen in the future. Shogun is known for his aggressiveness and that will probably lead to his downfall. He will most likely go in swinging and Lyoto will just dodge his unorthodox striking. Another problem with Shogun’s new look in the UFC is that he looks poorly conditioned, in his fights especially the Forrest fight he looked like he got tired fairly quickly and that probably led to his demise. I hope Shogun wins but if I were to put money on it, I would go with Machida by a decision. One thing Shogun does have a good shot at is winning the ground game and hurting Machida there.
